About me- Kate Segal- Nutritional Therapy Council Registered Practitioner

I am a  nutritional therapist that firmly believes that food is the root to health. I was trained at Raworth College, Dorking and graduated with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy.I am a Nutritional Therapy Council Registered Practitioner (NTCC) and am a full member of  the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy(BANT)- the professional regulating body. I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council(CNHC). This is the independent voluntary regulator supported by the Department of Health.

My connection with food started whilst at  college  training in hotel and catering management, I then followed a career in the hotel industry working in England and France. After a gap to have a family  and care for sick parents, it seemed a natural choice for me to continue with my love of food and expand my knowledge to study the benefits food can offer to health, which led to two fascinating years studying nutritional therapy. I now run a practice in Surrey – Nutritionroots where I give one to one consultations and group consultations  but also offer practical solutions-filling your fridge service and encouraging you to grow some of your own!
